Language Analysis

This paper was assigned to EAP 506 course in fall 2017. The writing is about to analyze language usage in the article of “Multimarket Contact and Rivalry over Knowledge-based Resources” by Matt Theeke and Hun Lee. My analysis was based on academic style features from Swales and Feak’s research. Through writing this assignment, I can more understand the level of formality and informality of the language and use of specialized vocabulary. It’s is very helpful for my further research and writing to achieve a high-level of academic writing style.
